Oncology Wellness Rehabilitation at St. Vincent’s

At St. Vincent’s Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care, compassionate support is a crucial aspect of the overall care we provide you, your loved ones, and your family.

Our Oncology Wellness Rehabilitation Program incorporates a wide range of support to help you heal. These therapies address the depleted levels of strength, energy and endurance you or your loved one may experience as a result of cancer treatments. 

Our staff of occupational therapists working collaboratively with St. Vincent’s multidisciplinary care team, are dedicated to helping you or your loved one regain and increase strength, achieve independence, and improve your overall quality of life.

Our certified therapists are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art therapy tailored to meet your individual needs. We are here to help you to restore all your abilities.

Additional Services

St. Vincent’s Oncology Wellness Rehabilitation Program includes instruction in lymphedema management to help you control the buildup of fluid and swelling that occurs after cancer surgery or radiation. Education and training is offered by licensed physical and occupational therapists certified in lymphedema management.

Speech Therapy is available for individuals who may have experienced treatment for head, neck or esophageal cancers. You or your loved one will be assisted with therapeutic methods used to restore swallowing, chewing, and speech.

St. Vincent’s Integrative Survivorship Program is designed to provide all our cancer patients, survivors and their families with tools and guidance they need to help them to achieve their goals and to optimize their health.
