Genito-Urinary Surgery

Genito-urinary surgery concentrates on the medical and surgical aspects of the male and female urinary tracts.  Urologists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urologic disorders. 

Common genito-urologic problems include: 

  • Kidney stones

  • Blood in the urine

  • Difficulty with urinating, including the inability to urinate

  • Urinary incontinence

  • Sexual dysfunction

  • Prostate cancer

  • Tumors of the kidney or bladder

  • Circumcision
