Sponsored by St. Vincent's SWIM Across the Sound, the SWIM Prostate Cancer Institute's Support Group is open to men with prostate cancer who are in treatment or recovering from treatment. The group meets once a month from 4:30pm to 6:00pm in the Memorial Room at the Fairfield Public Library, located at 1080 Old Post Road in Fairfield.
The group is associated with Us-Too the National Prostate Cancer Support Group. Information, support and resources are provided to the attendees through group discussions and lectures from physicians. Guest lecturers will talk on pertinent topics for the first 30 minutes with a 10 minute question and answer period. Group interaction and open discussion will continue.
