Requesting a Chaplain Visit

The Pastoral Care Department at St. Vincent’s Medical Center is dedicated to providing quality spiritual care and support for our patients, their families and our staff along with supporting community clergy in their ministries to our patients. Our Pastoral Care Department Chaplains offer services 24-hours a day, seven days a week to persons of all faiths.

The Medical Center is sensitive to religious traditions as well as to the different spiritual needs of the patients and the various demands of their families while they are in our hospital. Official local religious representatives are ensured access to their congregants as long as they have secured an official St. Vincent’s Medical Center Badge and follow hospital policies. An application for a St. Vincent’s Medical Center ID Badge for clergy along with hospital policies and procedures can be obtained at our Pastoral Care Department office located on the Main level of the hospital next to the Virginia O’Brien Fortin Chapel.
