Hospital Amenities 

St. Vincent's Medical Center is equipped with many amenities to make your stay or visit here as convenient as possible.

• Main Lobby Seton Gift Shop: The Seton Gift Shop is conveniently located in the Main Lobby of the Medical Center adjacent to the Information Desk. 

• SWIM Center Boutique:  The SWIM Center Boutique offers wonderful gift items for every occasion as well as items made especially for patients undergoing cancer treatments. 

• Patient Resource Centers: Computers and reading materials are available for health-related information searches in the Vivian and Richard F. Kral Family Resource Center in the Medical Center’s Banks Library on Level 3 and the Maureen Ringel Cancer Resource Library in the Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care. 

• Hair/Nail Services: For your convenience, hair and nail services are provided to inpatients by appointment for a fee. Please call (203) 556-4639.

• Mail, Flower, Gift Delivery: Mail and flowers will be delivered to your room.

• Banking: An ATM machine is available for visitor convenience in the Main Lobby. 

• Wireless Internet Access: The St. Vincent’s Public Wireless Network allows patients, family members and visitors to access the Internet at no cost using their own laptop from anywhere in the Medical Center, including patient rooms. 

• Television Services: St. Vincent's offers television service in your room FREE of charge. 

• Lobby TVs: A Large screen television is located in the Main Lobby for your viewing pleasure. Our Emergency Department waiting room has multiple large screen TVs for watching.

• Telephones and Cell phones: Cell phones are permitted in certain areas of the Medical Center. Ask a healthcare professional where cell phone use is permissible. St. Vincent's provides local telephone service FREE of charge to all our patients.  

• Public Restrooms: Public restrooms are located on every floor of St. Vincent's Medical Center. If you can't find one, please ask a staff member to assist you. Additionally, there are public bathrooms on the Main Floor in the Medical Center Lobby and on levels 3 & 4 of the Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care. 

• Lost & Found: Our Safety & Security department maintains a lost and found service. If you find an article or think you left one of your possessions with us, call (203) 576-5543.

• Housekeeping/Environmental Care: St. Vincent’s Environmental Services staff works diligently to keep the hospital clean with housekeeping services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

• Smoke-Free Policy: St. Vincent's is committed to the good health of our patients, visitors and employees. Consequently, we do not allow smoking in the Medical Center or on Medical Center property.
