“Taste of Excellence” Patient Room Service


Patient and Visitor Information, St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, ConnecticutThe Food and Nutrition Department offers room service for all patients able to participate; assistance will be provided, if needed. Menu selections are based upon the diet your doctor has prescribed. To place your orders, simply dial ext. 5300 from your room phone between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Your meal will be delivered to you within 45 minutes.

If you know you will be a patient for a certain number of days, and wish to order your meals “in advance,” the Room Service Ambassador can provide you with an advance order form.

You may request to meet with a dietitian if you have any questions regarding the room service program or your diet.
