Baby Boomer's "Alaskan Glacier Cruise" – Info Session on February 21, 2007

BRIDGEPORT, CT, February 16, 2006 – St. Vincent’s Medical Center is inviting all Baby Boomers, (people age 42-60) to join them on an Alaskan Glacier Cruise in celebration of the new "Boomer’s Group" division of their "Club 50."

The trip will take place August 28, 2007 through September 5, 2007 aboard the MS Zaandam of the Holland America Cruise Line. The ship will leave from Vancouver and travel through Alaska’s glacier and "Inside Passage" with ports of call in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. The 1,000 mile stretch of protected water and shoreline is known for its abundance of wildlife, including sea lions, otters, whales, moose, deer and bears.

Free information sessions regarding the trip will take place on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 3:00pm and 7:00pm in the Hawley Conference Center at St. Vincent's. Refreshments will be served. Space is limited and cabins aboard the ship will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. St. Vincent's Boomer's Group
St. Vincent's Boomers Group is designed for people born during the Baby Boom years of 1946-1964 who still consider themselves young and healthy and who remain active in their careers and leisure time. Membership to the Boomers Group is free and entitles participants to join in on adventurous trips geared toward learning and exploring new territories with like-minded people. Members are also entitled to discounts, wellness programs, lectures, health screenings and newsletters all geared toward Boomer lifestyles and health needs.
