Appointments & Admission

Patients may be referred by their physician, or may call St. Vincent’s Center for Wound Healing to make an appointment for evaluation by the Center’s team. Once the best course of treatment for you has been determined, you will be scheduled for your first of several sessions of HBO treatments here at the Center. Treatments generally take about 2 hours, and you will be given a detail list of items that cannot be brought into the chamber. How many treatments you will be scheduled for will depend on the progress of your wound.

Successful wound healing requires the patient’s continued attendance for treatments. In this sense, how quickly or well your wound will heal will depend on you.
