St. Vincent’s Medical Center’s beautiful SWIM Women’s Imaging Center (WIC), allows patients access to the most advanced technology in imaging and diagnostics.

Convenient to residents of Fairfield and New Haven counties, the new WIC is located just minutes from Route 8 or the Merritt Parkway (via the Wilbur Cross Parkway in New Haven county), in the recently completed Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care on the Medical Center’s campus in Bridgeport.
Here, comprehensive mammography and bone-density services are offered in airy, beautifully appointed spaces where the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed—a place where your health, comfort, concerns and privacy are the paramount focus of a dedicated staff mindful of the value of your time.

At the Women’s Imaging Center:
- Hours are conveniently scheduled.
- Readings are quick, ranging from same-day to one week.
- All services, which are covered by most insurance plans, are located here at the center.
- When requested, mammograms and bone-density scans can usually be scheduled for the same visit.
- Prescriptions for annual mammograms are often not required.
- Evening appointments are available upon request.
