St. Vincent’s Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care is accredited with commendation by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. The accreditation of our Cancer Center is the result of being in compliance with all standards as well as attaining commendation ratings for eligible standards. Criteria for accreditation include a relationship with the American Cancer Society (ACS) and a representative from the ACS as a member of our Hospital Committee on Cancer.

Patient’s individual needs are assessed by our multidisciplinary team of cancer specialists to determine the best combination of treatment options producing the most optimal results.

Select cancer cases are reviewed at our weekly Tumor Conferences attended by physicians and staff from different disciplines ensuring the most thorough assessment of each case.
