Community Residential Services (CRS)
St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Services provides a Community Residential Service (CRS) division which provides permanent housing where adults with behavioral health needs and substance abuse issues can live independently and function productively in the community, with help from mental health professionals, in a safe and supportive environment.

CRS has made it possible for hundreds of people with chronic emotional, behavioral and addiction problems to escape homelessness and live responsibly in the community. CRS’s supportive housing programs are funded through both the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
