Seniors are living healthier and smarter than ever. Just ask the more than 32,000 members of our St. Vincent's Club 50/Boomers Group, who are achieving a healthy routine and lifestyle through services and programs designed specifically for them. As for medical expertise, our staff of board-certified geriatricians includes specialists in areas of specific importance to older patients, including orthopaedics, nutrition and cardiology.
But we provide more than medical care. We offer seniors a comprehensive spectrum of hospital and community resources, such as our Adult Day Center, which allows individuals to continue to live independently, while providing much needed respite for family caregivers. Senior Outreach helps seniors who are cut off from care because of physical isolation, disability, or lack of financial resources. And the St. Vincent's Parish Nurse Program provides nurse volunteers to 40 parishes and congregations, in an inter-faith effort to bring health screenings, information and education to elderly area residents.
St. Vincent's Special Needs Services provides specialized education, therapy and daily life skills for developmentally delayed infants, children and adults. They also provide adult day and residential programs as well as complete audiology services including hearing aids for anyone.
