Welcome to the St. Vincent’s Medical Center Acute Rehabilitation Unit on 10 East. 

We are a ten-bed unit providing a comprehensive team approach to help individuals maximize their independence in a variety of ways.  We have two private rooms as well as specially designed two-bed rooms that allow privacy during visiting hours and social interaction with roommates at other times.  Therapy is provided seven days a week.

Upon admission, the team will evaluate the patient and develop an individualized plan of care to best achieve the patient and family’s goals.  The rehab team will meet with the rehab physician weekly to update and modify the treatment plan as needed.  We have a variety of expertise and equipment to assure your progress.  As the most important member of our team, we ask that you, the patient, demonstrate a commitment to success.  Your motivation and willingness to participate are crucial to your success.
