Therapeutic Services
Cardiovascular Surgery
St. Vincent's has earned the highest marks for heart surgery success: low rates of complications, infections, hemorrhage or need of a second surgery, and lower mortality. Experienced surgical teams provide one-on-one care resulting in high patient satisfaction.
Electrophysiology
Electrical problems in the heart are diagnosed and treated using the latest technology. Tools used by our specialists include radiofrequency ablation, pacemakers, and implantable cardiac defibrillators (ICDs).
Heart Failure Center
Dedication to the best medical practices allows us to improve a patient's quality of life and reduce hospital readmissions. Using our acclaimed heart failure outpatient clinic, patients receive seamless care and education as they are discharged and continue to manage their illness.
Interventional Laboratory
Emergency angioplasty is available from our PAMI team 24-hours-a-day. We use the latest therapies, including medication-coated stents to keep arteries open with fewer complications.
The Vascular Center
St. Vincent's Vascular Center provides screening, non-surgical, and surgical vascular treatment with an emphasis on risk factor reduction. Angioplasty and stenting treat carotid and peripheral vascular obstructions, and new endovascular treatments are used for aortic aneurysms.
