Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Aortic/Mitral Valve Replacement Surgery Patients

VISITORS IN THE SURGICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

Immediate family and close friends are allowed in the SICU 24 hours a day, limited to two visitors at a time. However, prior to each visit, all visitors must call from the family room on the 8th floor. The SICU is a busy place and the nursing staff may be busy with your family member or another patient. Please respect patients' privacy at all times. Because of the intensive care and complexity of the patients' medical condition in this area, we do not recommend small children in this area.
