At St. Vincent's your new baby and family are in the best of hands, cared for by our experienced doctors, nurses and support staff. More than 30 practitioners are affiliated with the Family Birthing Center, including board certified obstetricians and certified nurse midwives. In addition, we have over 50 pediatricians caring for our newborns, as well as board certified perinatologists and neonatologists on hand for pregnancies and births involving special needs. A strong pastoral care presence provides another supportive touch distinctive to St. Vincent's.

At St. Vincent's, expectant mothers are treated with unrivaled care. It is the Family Birthing Center staff who truly make a St. Vincent's birth a special delivery. Our people are why generations of families are born at St. Vincent's.

A Unique Setting
The Medical Center's entire fifth floor is dedicated to the Family Birthing Center and Women's Pavilion. The 30-bed Center – entirely comprised of recently remodeled private rooms – provides a full range of pregnancy services. Each birthing room has access to the latest medical equipment (hidden away behind sliding panels), as well as soothing massage showers and a fold out couch for dad.
