Massage Therapy
Scientific literature has attributed numerous positive effects to massage in cancer. These include improvements in the quality of patients' relaxation, sleep, and immune system responses and in the relief of their fatigue, pain, anxiety, and nausea.
The benefits of touch and massage for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery and other treatment methods are endless!

Massage therapy is offered in our Ambulatory Infusion Center and our 7 East Oncology Unit two days a week. This service is offered free to all our cancer patients in AIC and 7 East thanks to the SWIM Across the Sound!
