The objectives of the Daniel T. Banks Health Science Library are:

• To provide services and informational resources to the professional and educational groups represented on the staff of St. Vincent's Medical Center, which will support their efforts to give quality patient care to the community the institution serves.
• To provide and maintain a comprehensive collection of print and non-print materials which will enrich and support the educational programs of St. Vincent's Medical Center.
• To provide services and resources to support research projects and continuing education needs of the clientele of the Daniel T. Banks Health Science Library of St. Vincent's Medical Center.
