On behalf of our leadership and staff, we want to thank you for your interest in St. Vincent’s Health Services. St. Vincent’s is a mission-driven organization founded by the Daughters of Charity and committed to serving the poor and underserved. We are proud to say that we are at the forefront in patient safety and quality, educating the healthcare providers of tomorrow and raising important funds for patients with cancer and others in need in our community.

In the pages of this .pdf brochure (click the image right to open and download) you will learn about the Medical Center, which was recently honored for its safety outcomes with an “A” rating for its Hospital Safety ScoreSM by the Leapfrog Group. The Medical Center has also been recognized by the Connecticut Hospital Association and by Consumer Reports as one of the safest hospitals in the state. You will read about St. Vincent’s Behavioral Health Services, which provides both inpatient and outpatient services to children and adults with psychiatric illness and addiction. Our St. Vincent’s Special Needs Services cares for adults and children with developmental disabilities. St. Vincent’s College offers associate and baccalaureate degrees, as well as certificate programs in the healthcare field. Our Foundation, which includes the SWIM Across the Sound, continues to raise millions of dollars annually to provide services and screenings to our community.
