Application & Training Requirements

Radiology Services at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport CTApplication to our program for a first-year Radiology position (R1/PGY2) must go through ERAS. We participate in the NRMP, and do not accept applicants outside of the match.

We accept ECFMG certified international medical graduates with one (1) year of clinical or research experience in the United States or Canada. Observerships without direct clinical responsibility do not meet this criterion. Please note that we do not offer a transition year as part of our diagnostic radiology program.

  • We sponsor J-1 and H1-b visas.
  • We have no minimum USMLE score requirements.
  • We have no cutoff for year of medical school graduation.
