Massage for Cancer Patients and Survivors

St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport CT ProgramManual therapy through massage reduces tension and stress, increases circulation, reduces fatigue and nausea and aids in the healing process. Certified massage therapists are specially trained in cancer care. This therapy can be a part of your treatment plan.

Massage is offered to oncology patients undergoing active treatment (chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy) and for survivors out of treatment in the Survivorship Program. The first six visits are free. After six visits, a payment program will be established.
