St. Vincent’s Medical Center is now offering Health and Wellness Classes to their surrounding community. Previously only available to employees, these classes are now open to the public.
Class participants are required to sign a waiver prior to registration for some of the classes. Most sessions run for 10 weeks with the exception of the Pilates class which is offered 6 weeks at a time and the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program and Weight Watchers program which are 16 and 17 week sessions respectively.
Exercise and stress-reduction class offerings include Qigong/TaiChi, Yoga, Zumba, Boot Camp and Pilates.
For community members interested in learning about healthy eating choices, another great Wellness class is the Weight Watchers program.
Lastly, the hospital is delighted to present the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program designed to help people with pre-diabetes.
Parking tickets will be validated for class participants.
