St. Vincent’s CHANGING IMAGES Programs provide "playing" (recreating) and "learning" and care to individuals with complex developmental disabilities. Individuals enjoy socializing in small groups and engaging in activities adapted to their interests and needs.
Direct Care Counselors are assigned to groups and to individuals to provide them whatever level of assistance they may need. Facilities, located in Stratford and Norwalk, are licensed by the Connecticut Department of Development Services.
In addition, St. Vincent’s Special Needs provides training, job development and on-site assistance to enable individuals challenged by developmental disabilities to perform and receive payment for productive and meaningful work.
