Lorella Struzzi Lorella Struzzi is a lawyer who retired from her practice to focus energies on raising her children and volunteering for various organizations. Lorella had been the primary caregiver for her father for nearly two years until his death in September 2005. When her father passed away, she thought that there had to be some way she could share all that she had learned to help someone else navigate the unknown territory of the medical world. Just about that time, Lorella learned that St. Vincent's was forming the Patient and Family Advisory Board from an article in her local paper. She knew instantly that she wanted to be a part of the group. In tribute to her father, she hopes that she can share their experience and have a positive impact on the experiences others have when facing similar circumstances. |
