A Patient and Family Advisory Board (PFAB) has been developed at St. Vincent’s, with the goal of promoting patient-centered care through enhanced collaboration between staff, patients and families. The board, which has been embraced by employees and the Board of Directors, consists of several staff members and volunteer patients and/or family members of patients who have received care at the Medical Center. Its philosophy is to incorporate patient and family feedback into practices that will improve the healthcare experience. |
