Donald Saltzman is a retired television broadcast executive with many years of creative and business management responsibilities. He has extensive experience in public service, serving as a zoning commissioner for 24 years, a legislative consultant on telecommunication issues, chair of statewide cable council, chair and vice-chair of local area cable council.
Don's hospital experience comes from being a very active caregiver to many family and friends in a hospital environment. His experience at the Medical Center also comes from being a survivor of life-saving cardiac surgery.
As a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Board and a volunteer worker in the Cardiology Department, he is able to observe and experience the clinical as well as the administrative functions of the hospital.
