Sr. Louise Gallahue oversees the entire St. Vincent's System, which includes the Medical Center, St. Vincent’s Special Needs Services in Trumbull, Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services in Westport, St. Vincent’s College and St. Vincent’s Foundation. Sr. Gallahue first came to St. Vincent’s in 1979 as a nursing supervisor in the Family Health Center. In 1985, she was a staff nurse in St. Vincent’s psychiatric unit. She returned to St. Vincent’s in 2002 to serve as Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services clinical and community outreach coordinator for Homestead Residential Services, becoming the director a year later.
