Dr. Edwin Levine of Easton has been elected President of St. Vincent's Medical Staff. Dr. Levine is a member of the Division of Gastroenterology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Dr. Levine joined the staff of St. Vincent's Medical Center in 1993 after serving a Fellowship in Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology and an Internship/Residency  in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. He earned a bachelors degree from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut, and his medical degree from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn Downstate.

While at St. Vincent's he has served on a number of committees concerned with quality assurance and utilization review. He is a Diplomate in Gastroenterology of the American Board of Internal Medicine (recertification) and a Diplomate, Internal Medicine of the American Board of Internal Medicine. In his private practice, Dr. Levine is a member of GI Health Specialists on White Plains Road in Trumbull.
