Dianne J. Auger St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CTDianne J. Auger is senior vice president of St. Vincent’s Medical Center/St. Vincent’s Health Services and president/CEO of the Medical Center Foundation. She most recently served as regional chief executive officer with the American Red Cross, Connecticut and Rhode Island and interim regional chief executive officer for the Greater New York Region.  There, Dianne managed delivery of service, fundraising, government relations and operations of the largest strategic region in the country, serving 13 million residents.

Dianne is no stranger to the needs and issues of Fairfield County and its residents.  Born and raised in Bridgeport, she has spent much of her career close to home.  Prior to her 13 years with the American Red Cross, Dianne was director of business development and administration for Ahlbin Centers for Rehabilitation Medicine in Bridgeport, vice president of marketing and development for the Discovery Museum and vice president, market segmentation manager for People’s United Bank, both also in Bridgeport.

After earning her MBA with a concentration in management and marketing from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Dianne would later serve as director of corporate relations and annual giving for the University from 1992-1993.  She is currently vice-chairman of the Board of Directors for Sound View Community Media in Bridgeport and is a member of the Bridgeport Rotary Club, where she is a past president. 

With extraordinary success in both for-profit and non-profit endeavors, Dianne has earned much recognition both professionally and personally.  She has been the recipient of several awards, including the American Red Cross National Presidential Award for Excellence, the Bridgeport Regional Business Council Susan L. Davis Women’s Leadership Award and the Friends of Leadership Greater Bridgeport Award.  Dianne lives in Stratford with her husband Joe and their three children.
